I’ve been in a coaster making mood lately, and this kiwi coaster crochet pattern is perfect for summer. I love the little seeds and that it looks sliced! What other fruits remind you of the summer time? I am really tempted to create a full “fruit salad” of coasters!

Kiwi Coaster Crochet Pattern
Row 1: With Off-White, make a magic loop. CH 1 to close the loop, then CH 1. Make 12 DC into the magic loop. Pull loop to close. Switch color to Pistachio, then SL ST to beginning of row. (12 ST)
Row 2: CH 2. Make 2 DC in every ST around. SL ST to beginning of row. (24 ST)
Row 3: CH 2. *Make 2 DC in the first ST, then 1 DC in the next. Repeat from * to end of row. Switch color to Toast, then SL ST to beginning of row. (36 ST)
Row 4: CH 1. *Make 1 SC in the first ST, then 2 SC in the next ST. Repeat from * to end of row. SL ST to beginning of row and fasten off. (54 ST)
The seeds are added on at the end, after the coaster is finished. A simple backstitch with black around the section where the off white and green meet is a simple way to add on the seeds. Alternatively, you could also add each stitch individually and weave or tie the ends.
